Comments Our 4th visit to Manta Ray Bay Resort and we are already looking forward to our next one. The accommodation is outstanding and the staff will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The dive operation is first class and the DMs /boat captains very knowledgeable about the area. Yap is well known for its manta population but it has so mush more to offer: healthy corals, great macro and a fantastic shark dive. Despite being far away and somewhat isolated, the resort manages to offer all the conveniences required for a great holiday. The restaurant offers fresh food including salads and veggies grown in their greenhouse, baked goods from their bakery and beer brewed in their brewery!
The owner Bill Acker is on location and connects personally with his guests making you feel very welcome.
We were there for the annual Mantafest, a photo event where you get to discuss photography and learn from pros from the US and Europe. A fun event with great diving, camaraderie and lots of learning!
