Comments It's hard to point out "the bad" with a dive operation we've used many times in the past. Fish'N fins has a long history in Palau and the current owners are very respectful of that history, their clients and Palau's great people and environment. The operation is geared towards groups who come for a week or so from all over the world, so individual divers might tend to get lost in the shuffle, until you speak up and get sorted out. Our group of four wanted to 3 dives a day, and it took a few days to get that figured out, but once we did it was super -- 3 dives in the best areas each day with a boat full of others who wanted to do the same.
Everyone's talked about the great diving here and what's great to do: one of our highlights was going with Tova Bornovski when she went to do a presentation to Palau's environmental officers on the sharks of Palau. She has founded an NGO to focus on Micronesia's shark population, much needed and a great organization.
There are now many choices of places to stay in Palau. We have chosen the West Plaza for their simplicity and convenience. Desekel is close to the FNF dive shop and to town, WP Malakal is near to other restaurants and the piers.
If you're interested in something different to do the last day, consider the off-road adventures FNF offers. Friends did it and had a great time (it's in self-drive off-road jeeps with a guide)!
Palau has currents which can be quite strong -- may not be the best place for beginning divers!

UW Photo Comments FNF is used to having photogs around and staff and boat crews are very good with camera gear. usually 5 gallon plastic bins with fresh water. They also have a professional around who not only does videos but also can help with problems or suggestions.
