Comments The best dive was in a murky channel where we came upon numerous huge mantas feeding near the surface. I did a 25 minute safety stop watching the show. This is one dive I will never forget. The snorkeling in Jellyfish lake was a one of kind experience.

For the most part the crew was very pleasant and helpful, although Captain Ben could have been a little more personable. The chef was excellent and we were very pleased with the food. The wine and beer offerings were very good.

We docked overnight at the island of Peleliu and were warned about the no-see-ums. They weren't that bad during the day, but were terrible at dawn and dusk. Even though we used spray, we had bite marks for weeks after we got home. This is the only island where they actually docked (other than the Koror) and there really was no reason to do so. They could have easily anchored off shore like they did everywhere else.

The head in our room had backed up before we boarded and the smell was still very strong. Luckily, a couple in our group cancelled at the last minute so we were able to move across the hall into their cabin.

UW Photo Comments About half way through the trip one of my strobes quit working. Turns out that the housing got cracked and flooded. The staff loaded and unloaded the cameras for each dive, and since I never bumped the strobe....
