Curtis Huber, a 30-year-old PADI Master instructor and one of the owners of Saba Reef Divers, was killed when the pickup truck he was driving was hit by a landslide and a 16’ x 3’ boulder landed on top of the Saba Reef pickup truck. Three other crew members, including Kathy Mikita, his fiancée and co-owner of Saba Reef, were injured. Memorial contributions may be made in Huber’s name to A. M. Edwards Center (Saba Hospital) in care of Saba Reef Divers, c/o Islands Communications Services, P. O. Box 527668, Miami, FL 33152-7668. |
