I am the sales manager for Little
Cayman Beach Resort, so you can
imagine my reaction when I received
your May issue with the "Diving
with a Jerk" feature, which
highlighted some very inappropriate
behavior by one of our divemasters. We take great pride in doing things
the right way, and it was disappointing to see our failure so well publicized.
I immediately called Kendall Botellio and spoke with her. She
explained the situation and I agreed with her that it was not handled
properly. She did tell me that everything else about the trip was outstanding
and that they would like to return. Yesterday, her husband, Rich,
confirmed that they will be returning with a group of 20 next July. We
want your readers to know that we take our guests' comments seriously.
We try to remedy their concerns as promptly as possible.
As a dive consumer myself, I value the information I obtain from In
Depth/Undercurrent. As a sales manager, I value your articles because they
help all of us to do a better job.
