Comments [None]we started off planning our trip about ten months out arranged air bnb places to stay and they were great. We didn't arrange for a car until four months out. Bad mistake. We were able to get one from Ace car rental, that ment we had to be picked up at the air port, we waited for an hour and a hafe. But was really the only snag. The air bnb at Surgar Beach was on the beach and excellent, there was a resterant next door that was very good, Breezes. The snorkeling was good right in front of our place ,l got to gather conch , clean and cook it right there. We did a dive at Fredrickstead pier, it was good and easy , rented tanks and weights right across the street n 2the blue cost about 40$ we saw sea horse and reef squid there was 23 and the group and just hung out..The dive was shallow about thirty ft. And lasted 73 mins. We then did three dives at can bay.The swim to the bouy is about one hundred fifty yards, twenty two ft. Deep to the wall then dive as deep as you want, it thousands of ft. Deep. First dive there was a shark waiting for us at the wall, divers kill lion fish and so it's a free lunch. I was told to put the lion fish back under the rocks to keep the Sharks from getting aggressive. When l killed one the shark had a buddy and they got pretty excited , but they just followed us the rest of the dive. It was great to see them close and not chummed up. Not many lion fish ,the divers have done a good job of thinning them out. We bought fresh fish from a guy along the road down from mc Donald's ,7dollars a pound for the fish and 10 a pound for lobster and crab. He's there at 12:30 mon. Thru sat. Till about 5 or he sells out. Sweet bottom dive at cane bay treated us like family after the first time we walked in they had our papers ready and all we did was pay and sigh in . We forgot a mask and they loaned us one free. Nice people highly recommend them . We'll be back.
