Comments Cruz Bay Watersports is a very regimented operation, and not in a good way. they are super punctual, and very aggressive about it, even on an island that runs on "island time." if you mess with their schedule, they warn you. if you don't follow their boat and diving rules, they warn you.

I dove with two different dive masters: Jared and Jason. Jared was quite a dick. It was like diving with a marine drill sergeant. Jason was more laid back, and I really liked him, but he was obviously pressured by the boss to keep everything on schedule and make sure all the rules are followed. The boat crew was very nice, but they were similarly regimented, and everyone was lined up like ducks to giant step into the water. By a few things the crew said, its the owner who is a stickler for rules and schedule. Everyone was as pleasant as can be about it, except Jared.

I didn't rent any gear, so I can't tell you anything about it. The boat was fast, but it lacked sufficient shade.

The Westin itself is quite nice, but although it is expensive, everything still runs on island time.
