Comments We were on a cruise when we dove here, but booked the diving with Admiralty independently before leaving home. Our cruise ship arrived late, but they waited for us with other divers already on the boat. Due to the lateness of our arrival, they didn't take us very far from where we docked. Duane and "Fishbutt" gave us a thorough safety briefing on the way out. The 25 ft. boat carries up to 6 divers comfortably. They have a large cooler for snacks (bring your own- which we did)and drinking water is provided. We brought all our equipment except BCs. The ones we rented were in good shape, and were integrated. Our gear was set up for us, so we relaxed and took in the scenery. Our first dive was JBK Barge-not especially exciting or prolific- more like a Gulf dive. Though we did see a spotted moray, small nurse shark,a queen and grey angel, hogfishes, parrots, and horse-eyed jacks. Our gear was switched out for us between dives. The second dive was an hour, as promised, and a much nicer dive. The site was Armando's Paradise-nice topography: short swim-thrus with high relief, and a lot more life.We swam past azure vase and touch-me-not sponges, stovepipes, and golden crinoids. In attendance were scrawled cows and filefishes, a school of about 50 sennets, spotted drums, large porcupine fish, butterflys, a small ray, numerous tangs, etc. The crew got us back to our boat in plenty of time, and did a fine job.
