Comments Olympus' web site suggests great visibility in August and water temperatures around 80. Perhaps these exist. But on my 3 days of diving vis was 15-30 ft. with a lot of particulate in water and numerous jelly fish. The boat's divemaster laid out "wreck reel" lines on the wrecks We dove ( each dive was on a wreck) so divers could follow the line while viewing the wreck and then return to the anchor line , again following the wreck reel line This line was helpful given the limited vis. We descended/ascended on the anchor line to avoid being carried off by strong currents.Water temp on surface about 79F, but at around 40 ft hit thermocline and temp dipped to 73-5F. Crew very proficient and safety-oriented.The dives I did were not for novices given the strong currents and limited vis, plus pitching dive boat as We left and retruned to the boat.Boats had no compressor aboard. So needed to switch out tanks after each of the day's two dives- each diver switching out his/her own tank. Olympus offers and encourages Nitrox, and the Olympus mix is 30%. Boats crowded my 3 days of diving. With a few exceptions, all divers were very experienced and some dove with double tanks.Saw no Sand Tiger Sharks and could not dive the Nazi sub as currents too strong that day at sub's dive site.
