Comments Earlier in the year we were on a liveaboard, which was great other than diving with a herd of people of varying skills. The really nice thing about Lucky Fish was that we had the boat to ourselves. They limit the dive to a maximum of six divers. We chose to dive as a couple, and had the whole operation to ourselves. Could have saved some money if we had brought another couple or two with us, but the solitude was unique.

The Lucky Fish team are very friendly and know what they are doing. Captain Glenn and Jill, the owners, treated us exceptionally well. Our divemaster Brittany knew her way around the various sites. Eight dives in three days - three wrecks and the rest shallow reefs. 25-foot boat with full bathroom, lots of room for our gear, snacks, water and other beverages.

The hard corals were in bad shape. Soft corals and small fish abound. Turtles everywhere!

Glenn and Brittany figured out our parameters day one, and adjusted the balance of the trip accordingly. Deepest dive was 90 feet, most were 30-50 feet. We were lucky to have "Chamber of Commerce" weather and sea conditions.

The Playa Largo is a really nice place. We were there 4 nights and they had two wedding parties, which cramped our style a little as regards places to have a beverage and/or dinner at the resort. Fortunately, Key Largo has lots of options and Uber/Lyft drivers that allowed us to unwind a little.
