Comments As Floridians, we have dove the keys many times. We decided to dive the Wreck of the Adolphus Busch, located near Looe Key Marine Sanctuary. After reading some reviews on Looe Key Dive Center, I called and asked about availability. Lucky for us they were diving it from their 6 pack, diver only boat, Inner Space III. As our luck continued, we were the only two on the boat. We went out to the dive site, and had blue water. The wreck sits in about 110 ft, and there was little current.
The dive it self was wonderful! We had 3 goliath groupers, who would swim off the wreck to the east. We also had enormous tarpon down deep on the wreck, snook, and many bait fish. My husband and I had the wreck to ourselves! A green sea turtle came to visit, until he saw us on the wreck....
We each had schools of shiners with bar eyed jacks surround each of us, understanding how the goliaths feel with the fish surrounding them

We were allowed to dive our computer profiles, and return to the boat with 700 psi.

Loved this dive, the fish life was abundant, and the boat captain was a pleasure, always willing to lend a hand.

Our second dive was at the sanctuary, and we were happy to see very healthy corals and sea fans.

Highly recommend Looe Key divers. Simply make sure to ask for the "diver only" 6 pack boat. It was $10 more per person, but totally worth it.

Our second dive was at the sanctuary, and we were happy to see very healthy corals and sea fans. Again, there were 3 golaiths that like to come out and hang under the boat for the shade.
