Comments Upon arrival, we were forced to attach our bcd and reg to a tank - to test pressure, analyze nitrox, prove our reg could breathe and the bcd inflate/deflate!!! Mind you, these were my own tanks and I've used my equipment for years - and always keep maintenance up to date. I had my logs so I could prove my experience. They eased up on following days, but if you're experienced - you may want to have your dive shop call ahead of time to inform them of your lack of need for special attention (though I'm not sure it will help!).
We did 4 dives with them and were very limited on time at depth. On a wreck dive (first dive of the day at 77' max) we were forced to begin to ascend after only 20 minutes!! I ended up back on the boat with 1600 lbs!!!!
This may be appropriate for some of the beginner divers they assuredly get in the Keys, but I'd like to dive my own profile. I don't think I would return.
We arrived at a time when the seas were relatively high, consequently the viz was poor, so the diving wasn't as good as I expected the Keys to be. This may have colored my sensitivity, but still...
