Comments Great trip, excellent boat & pleasant resort. The resort is for divers: functional, spacious & clean, (not fancy), and coffee at 7:30 am. We lucked into a suite with a veranda that fronted the bay, and a doorway located 5 convenient paces from the diveboat. Felt like heaven!
The main 45' diveboat was well organized for diving, and even when crowded had no cattle-boat feel. The snorkelers aboard did their own thing away from the divers and actually proved useful when it was time to navigate back to the boat. ;-) Captain & 1 crew were helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Bring your own dive guide if you want one. A smaller 25' boat is also available for private charter or when only 2-4 divers are diving.
Critter sighting included a congregation of tarpon (3), barracuda, lobster, spotted eagle rays, stingrays, nurse sharks, schools and schools of reef fish (including fry and fingerlings), profuse & varied sponges and corals, and not one lionfish (yay!)
