Comments We have been to Salt Cay to dive with Debbie and Ollie many times. I think each time is better than the last. This time we had Mike as our divemaster and he was terrific. I got my Advanced Open Water and he finally made the compass my friend. This is a small operation and if you want big boats with a head, shower and camera table go somewhere else. The objective here is to dive, dive, dive. Water warm and clear. Not a large amount of big critters but enough to keep you very interested. Corals are great. Trip over to Grand Turk to dive was very good. This is easy diving and great for beginners but also great for people who want a laid back dive vacation. I am hesitant to tell you how good they are because we want to keep them just for ourselves. I dont know what will happen when Grand Turk gets cruise ships in but given the limited space on this island we are hoping the operation stays just like it is now. We stayed, again, at the Tradewinds. As usual it was clean, roomy and comfortable. The food at Island Tyme is better than what we have at many islands that are much bigger. Porter is a gracious host and you feel you have come to have your meal with him. Very small but any place that gives you Eggs Benedict made with lobster for breakfast is all you will ever need.
