Comments Great boat and crew. This was my first trip back to the Caribbean in about 5 years. After diving most places in the Pacific, this trip was a real letdown. But I kind of expected that. Not much for critters, average number of reef fish, some reef and nurse sharks and a few eagle rays in the distance.

This was a warm-up trip to test some new camera gear for a trip to Indonesia in Feb. 2014 and that I accomplished. I got a great deal on the trip, 50% off, so I decided to go once more.

The food was exceptional. The chef, Stan, has been a fixture on EV boats for years and does not disappoint.

In summary, this is a fine diveop as are all the EV boats that I have been on. The crew went out of their way to accommodate us in every way. If you're new to diving or liveaboards, this is a great way to start.

I was on this trip with Harry and I agree with everything he said, except that I will also mention that in many places, the reef was in very poor condition with a lot of dead corals and sponges.
