Comments I went with my dive shop to Dive Provo this past February. We only did two dives a day for the four days, but they were great! On five of the dives we had sharks follow along with us, and there were a couple of decent sized turtles and other larger fish as well. We heard whale song during our dives, as it was winter and the whales were migrating. On our fifth dive we entered the water, and as we were descending at about 60 feet a humpback whale swam within about 50 feet of us! The whale was both powerful and graceful!

Dive Provo did an excellent job with running the boat and managing the divers. We had a mixed crew of experienced divers and a couple of people who had literally just gotten certified. The whale dive was their first post-certification dive. The one thing that I didn't like about Dive Provo was that they didn't really want to rent out certain types of gear. I understand the need to make a profit, but they could have had some warmer wet suits or core warmers to rent out.

Just the same, the trip was great and Dive Provo did a great job. And I actually got to see a freaking whale!
