Comments Accommodations are nice with two doubles or queens available. Housekeeping straightened and cleaned up daily.

Breakfast buffet daily that changed from day to day. Coffee was available
at 7am daily. Lunch on the meal plan was a choice between two different items daily. Dinner options were varied - had red snapper two nights with baked potato and steamed vegs. Pasta dishes available as well as steak and shrimp dishes. Most nights, because the breakfast and lunch were so much, most in our group opted for Greek salad with chicken or shrimp. Bohio has a well appointed bar.

The facility is quite nice - still under repair from hurricane damage - as is much of the island. TV cable was not repaired anywhere on the island, so they installed DISH TV for the lobby area - none in rooms yet. WIFI in lobby area, but not yet in rooms. Dive shop not really functional as a shop - was being repaired while we were there. Pool was not operational, but, we were told, should be soon. The pool deck was being refinished toward the end of our week. New posts were ready to be sunk for the poolside hammocks.

Staff and management were great! Can't say enough about the general
managers - Tom and wife Ginny. They seemed genuinely concerned about our comfort, food quality and that we were not able to dive due to the severe water turbulence which resulted from the massive storms moving up the US Atlantic seaboard.

Was able to dive last two days - viz was 40-50 ft; milky looking water from all of the water turbulence. Sand on hard corals from last fall hurricanes killed many of them, but did see brain and staghorn coming back; soft corals looking good. Normal reef fish; turtles; some reported seeing sharks and eagle rays. We received credit for missed diving.

Worst part of the entire trip was clearing Passport Control in Provo – about an hour and a half in line. Clearing Customs was a breeze. Allow plenty of time for your connecting flight to Grand Turk.

UW Photo Comments Storm related water turbulence did not make for good photography as there was noticeable particulate matter in the water. There was a separate camera rinse tank at the shop.
