Comments Grand Turk has a slower pace than Providenciales, but it is well worth a visit. Bohio is a great place to stay and dive when there. Owners Ginny and Tom run the 16 room resort with a staff of 27. They make sure you have a great time during your stay. They also will make your travel arrangements from Provo, including air and ground transfers, included in the cost of your stay. The resort has a nice restaurant with covered tables, indoor and outdoor seating and an indoor bar with a huge flat screen TV in the common area. There is also a huge outdoor area with another bar, shaded patio, tables, chairs and lounges with beach umbrellas. You're right on the beautiful beach. It's gorgeous. There is a fresh water pool next to the dive shop. You can bring your own dive gear which they will set up, rinse, hang up and have ready for the next day. They also have pretty decent rental gear available if you need it, including Aqua Lung Wave BCDs. The resort rooms are in two side by side 2 story buildings just past the pool, with 8 rooms per building. Each room is nicely decorated and appointed with all the conveniences including A/C, a mini fridge and plenty of storage area. Each has its own balcony that overlooks the beach. Just offshore is a wall that runs north / south right along the beach. This is where you'll be diving with sites just minutes from the resort. They use Carolina skiffs with a Bimini top for shade. Each has all the necessary safety equipment including oxygen. Each boat will take a max of 8 divers. Dive Instructors Nate & DJ run the boats and lead the dives. They are both very friendly and capable. You can dive your own profile or follow the leader. All sites have moorings usually in 30-40 feet of water over a very healthy reef system, which is in a marine protected area, right along the wall. Vis is usually very good, especially along the wall. We saw tons of stuff, fish and critters. We also had an unusual encounter with a few bottle nose dolphins, one of which had a tag on its right pectoral fin and seemed unafraid of humans - actually seeking out contact. Very unusual indeed. But the walls and reefs were covered with healthy corals and very fishy. Everything from grunts to spotted drums. Lots to see. I was amazed at how good the diving was. There is much more to say, but I'll keep this short by stopping here. Feel free to contact me with any specific info you'd like to know about this hidden gem.

UW Photo Comments Dive sites are close, just minutes from the resort, so there is no need for dedicated camera space on the boats. There is a fresh water rinse area for cameras at the dive shop. No air blower hoses, but towels and plenty of table space are available.
