Comments Probably the most amazing thing to me was how close we got to Caribbean reef sharks, sting rays and other fish life. Sharks on almost every dive, coming in close to check us out. A good variety of small fish and shrimp, lobsters, crab, flounder, sea horse, flamingo tongues and an occasional turtle. Saw one large lionfish. The boat moors essentially at the wall so you go in over coral heads at about 60 feet then a very short swim to go as deep as you like. Best sea life was at 60-80 feet.

Assessor crew and service was very good. Food was good but heavy on pork. Our crew seemed a little tired at the end; wonder if they need one more crew member? Captain Amanda was very professional. Her husband Rob certified my husband and I for Nitrox.

Weather was very windy and overcast at times. Water temp 81 degrees and visibility fair to good. Very little current on most dives.

My personal biggest negative was that the boat was air conditioned everywhere and I was cold. Since it was so windy on top, I got cold as I was climbing the ladder and had a hard time warming up my core temperature except for the blessed hot tub! Must be a way to air condition the kitchen but leave the rest of boat at more tropical temperatures.

I would definitely do this trip again, though. Great for beginners and also photographers. My husband got some unusual video using a go-pro lookalike and a selfie stick, which the fish ignored, making for some wonderful close-ups.
