Comments This was my third trip on the Turks and Caicos Aggressor II. There is a special place in Heaven awaiting Captain Amanda Smith and her husband (the boat's engineer), Rob Smith. While other members of the crew have rotated off the boat from my previous trips, I have always found them to be the most capable and caring I have encountered. Amanda and Rob seem to effortlessly keep all things under control, while maintaining their wonderful sense of humor (er, that's humour -- they're Brits). The staff is 5 star.

The boat itself is very clean and well-maintained. The cabins are small, but that is standard on Caribbean Aggressor boats. The food is excellent and plentiful.

Dive operations were conducted very professionally. Captain Amanda has a particular gift/skill for spotting small creatures. More than once I just photographed on faith where she pointed, and only saw the subject once the camera was downloaded.

The reefs and marine life are suffering along with the entire area, probably less so than many other locales. The diving is fantastic. For very inexperienced divers, several dive sites are on the deep side of recreational, but are otherwise not challenging.

Overall, I was extremely pleased with my week on the T & C Aggressor, and plan to return very soon.

UW Photo Comments Camera rinse tank and camera table were kept clean and were respected. No issues with mishandling of camera. We were asked to recharge batteries in a small room just off the dive deck, not a major inconvenience. Staff was very willing to help with ID of marine life. Slide show of guest photographs the last night.
