Comments I signed up their relay transfer package since transportation from Samui Airport to Asian diver in Tao is complicated. I wanted to go diving in the afternoon, though I left Bangkok very early in the morning.
At the pier in Tao Island, I couldn’t find a car from Asian Diver. After spending 20 min to expect their pick up,
I haggled the expensive taxi to Asian Diver from 300 THB to 250TBH,
Approx. 8USD to catch their dive boat in the afternoon. They said the car couldn’t find you, since you might be too late to disembark from the ferry. I stood in line from the ferry, never be late!
They did not pay me a taxi fare.
The last day on way back to the pier, it is a service only for guests in their accommodation which means it is not included the relay transfer package.
When it comes to diving, young DM are excellent and took care of me well in the water and ion the boat. Diving close to shores are mediocre. In order to encounter schooling fish we have to get to remote site such as Sail Rock and Southwest Pinnacles, however they never take me there due to bad weather. What worse, their price to the remote site is too high. So I changed diving services to New Way Diving. Surprisingly, two divers from Asian Divers embarked the boat to Sail Rock,as Asiana Divers couldn’t get sufficient diver to Sail Rock to operate.
They paid twice as much as New Way Diving with the same service.
It is easy for them to take us to the remote sites taking one hour or so. 3 remote sites are worth diving.
Huge schooling barracuda bat fish, Jacks and snappers.
Large groupers are resident.
Hard to select excellent dive shop. Eventually I used 3 dive shop in one dive trip.
