Comments The scuba diving in St. Vincent is an undiscovered gem! We have over 750 dives and have been to all the good-diving places in the Caribbean and, by far, the reefs near Buccament Bay in St. Vincent are the healthiest and most abundant we have ever seen. For example, as a photographer I often hold on with two fingers to steady the shot and, of course, I look for a handhold on a piece of dead coral or a bare rock, but here it was hard to find such a handhold.

The dive staff at Indigo Divers is the most helpful we have ever encountered. They try very hard to find interesting things underwater, with some success (frog fish, 3 sea horses) and are amazingly helpful with gear. Indeed, many people take off their tanks and BC's at the ladder and the staff cheerfully hoists them onboard.

The diving is excellent for both photographers and non-photographers. For the photo buffs there is true muck diving here where you can spend the entire dive at 30 feet and see lots and lots of little critters. At the same time, there are beautiful, steep walls with more growth than we have ever seen.

The resort staff, besides the dive staff, can't do enough to please the guests. The food is superb with a wide selection in the various restaurants, all of which is included in the price. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and the espresso maker with a milk steamer is an added treat.

Sounds like a very nice dive area. I looked up the resort and the least expensive room was over $1,200 per night. Out of most diver's price range I think. You are fortunate to experience it there for us to read about. Thanks for sharing.
