Comments I spend a great deal of time on St Vincent and do all my diving with Dive St Vincent. That's not to say the other dive shops aren't good. They all use basically the same dive sites. The oldest dive shop is Dive St Vincent and they are the ones that made the island famous for "critters". In all my years of diving here I have managed to see over 29 different types of nudibranchs, 15 different types of flatworms, 18 different brittle stars, limpets, chitons, shrimp, crabs, etc. Small fish are plentiful. Large fish are scarce. For them, you need to use a dive shop further down the Grenadines. Depending on the time of year, frog fish, baitfish and sea horses are going to be seen. Some of my finds can be found at/. www.rayhabermangallery.phanfare.com/. When comparing dive shops, make sure they can produce results and are more than just people pleaders. I push DSV because of their over 30 years experience. I don't work there or have any financial interest in them other than to pay my dive bill at the end of the week. This is a dive destination where " Rare is common." The next section is hard to answer. It is sunny and breezy almost every day. It rains in the rainy season and is dry in the dry season. there are some currents, more around a full moon. The water can be calm and flat if the wind is slight or choppy if there is a wind. The water temperature this time of the year is 83/84 and a wetsuit isn't really necessary. From about December on, most use at least a 5mm. It really depends on the diver. I use a vest all year round. Any questions, feel free to contact me at rhaberman@msn.com/ and write St Vincent in the subject line.

UW Photo Comments Small shop in a rented building. Recommended you service your camera in your room. They prefer that you do your wetsuit there also. There is a fresh water rinse tank on each boat.
