Comments We did two tank dives on 4 days that we were there. They have three boats of differing size, so they can accomodate different size groups, and we were able to go to different dive sites every day. Each day we had 3-7 divers on the boat. The boats are anchored right off shore from the beach. You wade off the beach and onto the boat. All the dive sites were close by. I don't think any one was more than a 15 minute boat trip. The dive operators are very friendly, accomodating, and safety conscious. The reefs were not spectacular,, but there were plenty of fish. The most exciting thing we saw was a dolphin who swam with us on our last dive. Octopus Diving is located in Grand Case, on the French side of St. Martin. The Hotel L'Esplanade we stayed at is a 5 minute walk to the dive operation, and a 5 minute walk to loads of great restaurants, so we did not need to rent a car. This made the whole trip very stress-free.
