Comments THE DIVING WAS AS GOOD AS I HAVE SEEN IN THE CARRIBEAN IN A WHILE. THE LION FISH HAVE NOT GOTTEN DOWN TO ST LUCIA YET. BLACK URCHINS WERE PLENTIFUL SO THE ALGAE WAS UNDER CONTROL; I SAW NO CALCARIOUS LEAF ANGAE WHICH IS SO PREVELENT IN THE CARRIBEAN. SOFT CORALS WERE IN GOOD SHAPE. HARD CORAL WAS SHOWING SOME STORM DAMAGE. FISH WERE LIMITED TO THE USUAL SMALL TROPICALS AND MANY SMALL EELS. THOMAS RUNS A GOOD SAFE SHOP; I RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS PEOPLE HIGHLY. WE HAD PLANNED TO DIVE WITH ANOTHER SHOP BUT THEY TOLD US THAT THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH DIVERS TO MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE AND SO THEY HAD CANCELLED. THOMAS SENT A BOAT WITH A DIVEMESTER AND CAPTAIN FOR JUST THE TWO OF US.
