Comments I was on a week's holiday in late September 2017 in Puerto Pollenca in the north of Mallorca. I decided to go for a morning two tank dive with established local operator, Scuba Mallorca based in Puerto Pollenca. I have dived with them many times before (see previous reviews). I booked about a week in advance which I would recommend doing as they seem to get quite busy. They are a British owned business but had Spanish dive guides and boat captain the day I dived. Scuba Mallorca picked me up from my villa in the local countryside outside Puerto Pollenca and dropped me off after the dives. This service is complimentary. I rented a BCD and regs but took the rest of my own equipment. I wore a 5mm full suit which turned out to be a good idea as the water temp was 24C. The boat is open and doesn't offer much protection from the sun. There was no boat briefing which surprised me. However, the guides were pleasant. I was buddied with another experienced diver and we were pretty much left to dive by ourselves which was fine. The boat ride out was a bit bumpy, it can get windy in the Bay of Pollenca but the dive sites were protected. There's not a huge amount to see (this is the Med!) but we did see several schools of fish and both barracuda and small tuna on the first dive and a nice small flounder on the second dive. The surface interval was short but it didn't affect the diving which is comparatively shallow (the deepest point was about 20m). If you are in the area was fancy a pleasant morning's diving then this is ideal.
