Comments Just a great dive week. Roomy dive boat, nitrox available, thorough briefings with diagrams, bring own snack for morning surface interval and pre-order lunch if diving afternoon. Discovered ostrapods on night dive at Hot Springs. Turning off lights allowed us to see the tiny blinking creatures that swarmed around us all as we settled on the sandy bottom at about 40 feet...like watching a clear starry sky, but better! Dive master compared them to strings of pearls. Amazing sight to see the 4-5 foot tarpon (a dozen or so) suspended around the mooring line, occasionally lazily swimming by and allowing us to swim alongside. Lots of reef life, beautiful sponges, a few reef sharks, green and hawksbill turtles. Beautiful warm water and relaxing diving.
