Comments I set up the trip for 16 friends. Sea Saba was great to work with on the scheduling and itinerary and found Julianna's for us. Overall they were extremely safety conscious and aborted a night dive due to strong currents after we moored and were in the water. That is something that was absolutely the right thing to do but in my experience, many operators would not have done.

The only disagreement we had is the dive group was a mix of inexperienced newbies and some very experienced (2000+ dives) divers. Those with more experience felt the divemasters were a little heavy handed requiring them to pull off of safety stops so that they would board the boat with 500 psi. However I think much of that may have been because they knew there were rookies diving and thus were particularly cautious. It is difficult to meet the needs of 16 diverse divers and by the end of the week the more experienced were given a freer hand.

As with much of the Caribbean, the corals are stressed, but the fish were abundant. Divemasters were very good in locating and identifying fish and other critters.

If I return to Saba I will book with Sea Saba again.
