Comments I/we cannot say enough EXCELLENT things about Sea Saba and Juliana's Hotel-the 2 work together although you're free to choose whomever if you wish another operator. The diving was amongst the best we have encountered in our 18 years diving. Sea Saba was what you wish other operations to simulate-they handled all your equipment from start to finish, valued your opinion, remained vigilant regarding safety both on board as well as underwater. They allowed freedom but you were better off reasonably near to them. All of Sea Saba was good natured fun and great at their jobs.
Juliana's was also superb! The scenery was exquisite-lush greenery and birds. The rooms were very comfortable-we were on the top floor (2 in total)and enjoyed wonderful ocean breezes. Our plan included breakfasts made to order. The food was very good and in decent amounts served at Tropics Cafe, right there at Juliana's. Lunch and dinner were not available every day, but was on most days. The managers/owners Wim and Johanna, both Dutch are more then you could hope for. Johanna was not as accessible as Wim her husband, but if you have a good sense of humor you will love listening and joking with Wim; talk about unpretentious and down to Earth!
Having recently suffered the loss of a parent, this Saba escape was exactly what I needed, and I can thank Sea Saba and Juliana's for that. Take notice however that if you are looking for the Ritz Carlton or the Hilton, Saba may not be for you. It was great not to see the familiar fast food joints. We are anxious to return and will definitely choose Sea Saba and Juliana's.
