Comments the bad: I was only American; Egypt is poor but prices were not cheap;
the dive operation mixes experienced with beginners; so, some short dives; there was current but not ripping; the lodge was well kept/ maintained but had a huge cockroach; common stuff like scorpion fishs.
the good: the Egyptians had humor; the Elphinstone reef deserved to be rated # 1;, esp., with close encounter with an oceanic, white tip shark; the service by the boat crew is he best in the world; the most detailed briefings by Hamza; a dive site drawing was called a UTERUS; the buffets at the Marina lodge were varied and mostly had huge quantities; even breakfast and lunches on the boats had huge quantities; the European divers were friendly/ social; some dives could last 65 minutes; English was well spoken by all; there were lots of dolphins; a few black baby manta rays were seen; a sea cow ( dudong) was chased by snorklers
