Comments This dive operation is located in Aqaba, Jordan. It is just across the border from Eilat. The diving takes place along Jordan’s small coastline and most dives are shore dives only a few yards offshore. Boat diving is offered as well, but only a couple sites require boat access. What made this dive operation so outstanding was the quality of its staff. Dive instructors and Dive leaders Mohammed Helo and Patrick Lawrence were both terrific, and both led our dive groups around the dive sites perfectly. In addition, they were incredibly kind and helpful; it was a true pleasure to dive alongside these two professionals. At the dive shop, Joey was always there to help with equipment and setup, and the BCDs and regulators and other dive equipment were first-rate. We rented our gear from Arab Divers and everything we rented was excellent. As for the diving, I was pleasantly surprised how good the reefs looked, considering they are only a few yards offshore. I did nine dives with Arab Divers, and aside from beautiful reefs, healthy coral, and lots of colorful tropical fish, I saw octopus, cuttlefish, boxfish, spotted puffers, porcupine fish, stonefish, a massive Eagle ray, and a turtle. The sunken Cedar Pride, the C-130 Hercules, and the tank are great for wreck enthusiasts as well. Overall, this was a fantastic operation that I would return to as soon as possible. I cannot say enough nice things about Mohammed, Patrick, Joey, and the entire staff of this operation. Very highly recommended.
