Comments We are planning on returning to Crystal Blue. There is a maximum of four divers per guide, and the photo subjects and corals are outstanding. Plus, Anilao is exceedingly easy to access: 2 hours south from Manila.

I also saw a post that mentioned garbage in the water. We saw very little, much less than Dauin and Dumaguete, for example.

Really an outstanding spot. Only negatives I could see is that this is definitely a resort for divers: not much to do if you are a non-diving spouse. Also, no pelagics or large fish.

UW Photo Comments I am an underwater photographer from the Seattle area, and we found the setup for underwater photographers excellent. There is an outstanding camera room that Mike Bartick designed, and it is great.

I saw some comments about not having rinse buckets on boats. We had one on ours, but we very rarely rinse equipment on board, and instead wait until we are back on land. I have seen more floods by people leaving cameras in rinse tanks than in the water.
