Comments I did the 10 day “Central Visayas” Itinerary. One of several Itineraries that are available depending on which time of year you travel. See the Aggressor website for details. This trip embarks and disembarks in Cebu which is a fairly large city with a good airport.

Diving is done from skiffs and divers are separated into groups of about five divers each with a guide. All of the dives were very good, many interesting things to see on every dive. Most of the sea life we saw was small, so take your macro if you are a photographer. The exception was Thrasher Sharks in the north part of the itinerary and Whale Sharks on the south end of the trip. We also saw turtles on several dives. The dive guides are excellent and very good at finding critters.

The Philippines Aggressor is a fairly new boat, launched just as the pandemic started. It is very spacious even though it can accommodate over 20 passengers. Rooms are very spacious and more like hotel rooms than boat cabins. The dive deck is large and each diver has their own bin and charging station. The crew was fantastic, accommodating every need. The food is excellent, breakfast and lunch are buffet style and dinner is served at the table.

I have done more than twenty five liveaboards and this was one of the nicest I have been on. I am already planning another trip on this boat on a different Itinerary.
