Comments The Star Dancer is the best of the three Peter Hughes boats that I have taken my groups aboard. It is spacious with relatively large rooms and lavatories in each, a spacious dive deck and dive platform, a warm and comfortable lounge/dining room, a nice library/theatre/botique on the lower deck and a large sun deck with ample shade, sun and hammocks and lounge furniture on the upper deck. Everyone in my group of 14 loved the boat and the crew. The crew is warm, accommodating, friendly and interacts with the guests in a most pleasant manner. Captain Raabe is a pure delight to be with and extremely entertaining. The diving is nothing short of spectacular with five dives a day, no profiles or time limits set for the guests, dive masters in the water to point out critters (which is a great help as so many of them are so small I would have never seen them without that help)and new dive sites with almost every dive. Divers were accounted for by each having a name tag attached to them prior to each dive and retrieved by the crew upon exiting the water.

UW Photo Comments Camera facilities included a clean and spacious dedicated rinse tank, a dedicated camera table and work space and a charging station for batteries. It seems like I am the only dinasour using convential photography these days as the digital wave sweeps over the rest of the dive community, so the onboard development of slides is no longer up and running. Cameras were carried to the dive deck by the crew and passed to the divers in the water. Care in handeling the equipment was always exercised.
