Comments The service at Loloata Island Resort is as good as it's always been. I've visited 3 times since the 90's and have never been disappointed. The yellow Rhinopias was one of my favorite finds and there are a couple of wrecks that are inundated with smalls like various species of pipefish, nudis, and shrimp. The MV Pai II should be visited for a night dive to see the school of flashlight fish.

There were 2 species of pygmy seahorses (at two different dive sites) that were easy to shoot and cuttlefish were abundant at many dive sites. This trip I spent a lot of time muck diving around Lion Island where I found pipehorses, Robust ghost pipefish, spider crabs, cuttlefish, different species of sea cucumbers, anemone shrimp, inimicus scorpionfish, flounders and soles, triggerfish, boxfish, puffers, various lionfish species, fangblennies, mantis shrimp and even an ornate Wobbegong.
