Comments A week aboard the iconic FeBrina should be on the menu of serious live aboard divers trips. While an older boat, it is comfortable and the warm friendly crew is too notch. Only holds 12 and were lucky that only six onboard for our week. More like a family than a business, with the unique captain and owner Alan Raabe interacting with customers from time to time. He is a force of nature and a legend in the diving world. Knowledgeable, and idiosyncratic i loved talking and learning from him, but some may find him too direct or opinionated. He is actually a kind man inside

Food is plentiful, varied and gets an A grade for a diveboat, particularly the lunches. Free wine at dinner is nice

But you are here to dive. Three dives most days before lunch is a nice regimen. Then a siesta, afternoon fourth dive and even a night dive every night if you still have energy. They curate a diverse set of experiences with bit macro and pelagic dives. Superb dive staff/leaders who have been on the boat for years

Visibility was good to great and health of reefs and fish life prolific.

Spend a few days in Brisbane on the way home. Great city that is underappreciated.
