Comments	A great getaway trip with awesome dives. We went to the northernmost island in Oman and did a drift dive along its western side. The boat ride out was a little less than one hour. Tons of fish, brightly colored soft corals and crinoids. The water was cooler than I expected, but was survivable in shorts and a rash guard. I recommend a 3 mil wetsuit for better comfort. The second dive was in a cove near Kumzar. Warmer water, again a drift dive with tons of fish, an eel and a turtle. Bader was a wonderful host and it's worth an extra day to walk around Khasab and see the sights. The Omanis are friendly and outgoing and the food is excellent. The Atana Hotel was comfortable and the staff was accommodating. If you want to have a drink in the evening, bring your own as the hotel is dry.
