Comments Hard to sum up such a fantastic trip. As the Captain Shawn says " you have to play to win". Sometimes its quiet, sometimes sensory overload. Went on every dive and snorkeled on surface intervals for the best overall experience of over 20 years of diving throughout the world. Saw countless mantas and dolphins up close and personal both diving and snorkeling. Plenty of sharks including silvertips, silkies, galapagos, & whitetips Experienced being in the middle of a huge school of hammerhead sharks with close to 100 ft visibility at Roca Partida. Snorkeled several times up close to mother humpback whales and their babies including having a baby breach within 15-20 feet of me. It was all and more than expected. The Nautilus Explorer though with a few minor issues such as a crowded dive deck, limited camera facilities, and few places to sit outside with sun protection is a very comfortable vessel and is scheduled for a complete refit/overhaul which should alleviate those concerns. The ships crew was outstanding in every way, constantly going out of their way to ensure an optimal experience. I do recommend this trip only for experienced/fit divers as conditions and currents can be unpredictable. This is clearly a "bucket list" trip.
