Comments This was my second trip here diving with Manta and both experiences were excellent. They are very professional, great dive masters who make the effort to point out small critters. Visibility was 40-50 feet. Nitrox available. Valet dive service if you want it.
Saw many guitar shark/rays. Large schools of fish, octopus, white tip reef sharks, nudibranchs. All the usual cool stuff. Sea lions near by. Pod of pilot whales seen while on the boat. Very little coral which is often the case on the Pacific side
The Cabo marine park is my favorite location. Corridor is good as well and this is where we found the white tips. More current at Corridor and sites less predictable for diving due to this. Less visibility at Corridor as well.
Last year water temp Aug 2021 was 86 degrees. This year Aug 2022 was 78 degrees. Was not expecting the colder temp. Need a wetsuit for sure.
The dive shop washed all our personal gear for us. Allowed us to store and hang our gear in onsite lockers overnight.
I was diving with a new regulator and had to make some hose placement adjustments once connected to a tank. They advised me and helped me do this.
One negative note is there is no fresh water rinse on boat and no working showers at dive shop. No camera table and no rinse buckets for cameras.
Overall very enjoyable diving and excellent dive shop. To my knowledge this is the only operation in Cabo that offers Nitrox. I will be back next year and use them again.
