Comments Water temp ran 68 at depth to 78 at the surface. Themocline at 34-40 feet. Service is excellent. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, safety conscious, and point out those unique fish (frog fish, scorpion fish, etc.) Michelle (at the counter) has that bubbly, infectious grin to make you welcome. The Instructors/DMs, Marc, Cass, KiKi, all have your safety in mind at all times. Boats for local diving are smallish with outboard motors (trip is short however, ~5 minutes. Surface traffic is heavy on weekends for local diving, lots of tourist boats and water taxis in the dive area. They do not heed dive flags. The trip to Cabo Pulmo takes ~2 hrs by road to get to the site. Diving is off local small boats with 35 HP motors. No ladders to get back into these oversize row boats. The dive is interesting, larger fish then seen in the Caribbean (jacks, trevali, grunts, giant triggers, humphead parrotfish, machete, etc.) and the light current makes a north to south drift dive possible.
