Comments All dives from dhoni - separate 35-40 foot boat equipped w/ compressor. We had a backup dhoni for the week - not in good shape but did not negatively affect diving. Liveaboard was very nice - had some A/C troubles early on but staff moved mountains to address. Good plentiful food. Nice rooms, large showers. Steel tanks - 12 and 15 liter available. DIN or yoke. Were permitted to dive own profile and ascend independent of guides. All dives were drift in currents ranging from weak to quite strong. Divers advised to bring reef hooks. All ascents with SMBs. Dive guides could benefit by more experience - some dives were suboptimal due to guides swimming against strong currents at depths of 80-90 feet to get to dive site. Better planning and positioning would address this.

UW Photo Comments Camera rinse barrel on dhoni, but weak briefings on etiquette for this, so frequent contamination by wetsuits, masks, etc. However, fresh water hose also available so no worries. Staff helpful w/ camera equipment. Excellent photo subjects underwater.
