Comments The WAOW is the nicest liveaboard we've ever been on, and they set the standard for a "luxury" trip. We've been on other boats marketed as luxury, like the Arenui, the Damai and the Four Seasons Explorer, but they simply don't compare to the WAOW. This ship is huge, with a wide beam, which makes it very comfortable. We had the master cabin, and it was enormous, with its own expansive private deck. The food was amazing and varied. Each dinner entree came with a nice sauce, and the portion sizes were just right to not leave us feeling stuffed. That said, they were always quick with seconds or even thirds if you happened to really enjoy something. The service was top notch as well, and they even had a massage therapist on board (she doubled as a server). The ship has its own satellite-based wi-fi (slow but adequate where there was no cell service), and it also has a closed-circuit movie network piped into all the cabins. We looked at the cabins on the two other decks as well, and they were all very nice. Other than the master, we actually would prefer the lower-level cabins instead of the two mid-priced cabins below the master (those seemed to trade too much interior space for a shared semi-private balcony). The diving was great and well handled, with the dive guys handling pretty much every detail. We've already booked two more trips on the WAOW. For sure not an inexpensive trip, but if you're looking for a genuinely well-done "luxury" liveaboard, this is it.
