Comments I had been to Kasawari right after they opened in 2006, and was very impressed with how the grounds have matured on this trip. When we were there in 2006, there wasn't much in the way of food or amenities, but those have all been fixed.
Be sure to pack a change of clothes or two just in case your bag is lost in transit. We used the laundry service twice, and really liked how our clothes came back.

Food is good...your day starts with 6am light breakfast (toast, coffee, juices, cold cereal) then you go out for the first morning dive at 730am. Back by 9am for the hot breakfast (cooked to order eggs, bacon or ham, fruit, potatoes, etc). Second morning dive at 1030am, followed by lunch, which is ordered during the hot breakfast from a menu board. Afternoon dive goes out at 230pm, followed by a snack upon return and ordering dinner from the menu board.

Bar service is limited...just beer and soft drinks. They do not have a bartender, rather the staff just opens bottles for you. You are allowed to bring your own booze.

Diving staff are amazing at finding things for you. Upon arrival, you give them your "wish list" and they do whatever they can to find those critters for you. Short boat rides for the time we were there...10-15 minutes max. Nitrox analysis is done by the staff on the boat with you watching and verifying analyzer reading. After every dive, you come back to the resort, where the staff will rinse out your wetsuit and booties for you and hang out to dry.

After each dive, fresh fruit and water are available, along with a dry towel and what we called "the happy box" which was a small cooler filled with hot hand towels, perfect for warming up a bit and getting the salt off your face.

Staff picks you up at Manado airport for the 90 minute drive to the resort.

UW Photo Comments Dedicated camera room with 220 volt power, and a few 110 volt converters. The dive staff carries your camera rig to and from the camera room and boat for you in a large basket. Once you have it set up in the camera room. they take it down to the gear area where there are huge rinse tanks for you to submerge your rig to check for problems before it it carried by the dive team to your boat. After the dive, the staff carries your camera beck to the rinse tanks and then to the camera room.
