Comments We met the first day for the dive briefing, and someone in our group started writing on the dive board stuff we'd like to see. We were being smart alacks, and started listing off the most bizarre, unusual stuff we could think of: Mimic Octopus, Wunderpus, Flamboyant cuttlefish, boxer crab, Embon scorpion fish, blue ring octopus. The list went on and on. By the end of the FIRST DAY we had found all the items that had been checked off except for a rhinoceros something or rather, which we never found. There's not enough space on this page to describe all the bizarre stuff we saw. This is a macro photographer's paradise.
Assign the finest dive operation you can imagine a number. Now multiply that number by 100 and you have the description of the dive operation at Kasawari Lembeh. There is NOTHING lacking. We've dove a LOT around the world, and thought we'd seen the best in customer service. Yet those fine establishments pale compared to the dive operations at Kasawari.
One piece of advice: Indonesia is a Muslim country, so alcohol is hard to come by. Take your own hard spirits. You'll thank me later!
Be sure to get a massage. The massages are very reasonably priced, and to die for!
