Comments I was on a 10-day trip that started in Triton Bay and ended in the Banda Sea. I would first like to say the crew on Damai 1 was very accommodating and took extremely good care of everybody in our group.

Closest Airport Kaimana Getting There The flights do get exhausting as it is best to check into the FM7 in Jakarta to rest before the midnight flight. From Florida it took me 5 days and 7 flights to get to Kaimana. Because the reliability of the final flight, we were forced to arrive a day early to ensure we were on the boat before departure.
