Comments This was our second trip on the Dewi Nusantara, and it was even better than the first one, which was FAB.I have done a lot of dive travel to great places ( Palau, YAP,The Maldives, Komodo Island) but this trip was the best ever. It is a very long trip to get to Sorong, but it is worth the journey. The best endorsement for this boat is the Many divers who are repeat customers.EG One European couple was on their 20th Dewi trip. We also met a Japanese woman who dives on the Dewi every 90 days.

The macro diving is simply incredible. TONS of fascinating tiny creatures. The Corals, both hard & soft are mind-boggling. This is one of the few places left on Earth where you can see high expanses of beautiful healthy coral. Loads of Tropical Fish.

If you want to see big critters, this may not be the trip for you.
Although we did have 2 very good Manta Dives at a cleaning station.

The Dive Crew is very helpful & accommodating.

The food was great, & the quality that you would expect in a good restaurant at home. I wish they served more Indonesian Dishes. It was mainly Western Food for Dinner.

The boat is Huge (190 ft) and only takes 18 divers. The crew is about 22-24. Very nice & friendly people.

The Dewi Nusantara should really be rated 10 Stars.
