Comments After several hours of flying, we left from JFK, we overnighted in Hong Kong to break it up,we then went to Bali and got in a few dives there. We then traveled by bus to the other side of the island and stayed at another hotel, as the ship was not yet in port. We arrived in port for transport to the ship the following day.The dirt roads were so narrow, our bus barely made it to the drop off point. We were picked up by tenders and we were off for one of the best trips I have ever taken. The ships crew got to know you by first name quickly and by day 2 they knew what time you woke and how you liked your coffee. The crew was run by a English and Mexican couple, who were great. The food was varied and plentyful, small breakfast before the morning dive, and then a big breakfast after. At lunch they would take your dinner order and you could snack all day.We were divided up into groups of 3 or 4 by air consumption so no bodies dive was cut short by a ASD. Almost all the reefs were healthy and full of fish, plenty of anenome's and clown fish of all varieties. On one dive sight, no coral but sand with gas bubbles rising through it, pretty cool. We went looking for Manta's of course, not to be disappointed, our group had two go right over head, the other groups saw more. We visited another reef for sharks, there were plenty. Turtles everywhere, cuttle fish, several. I tried the muck diving at night, not really my thing, the reef night dives were better, I had to shut my light a few times, sea lice, really larva from all the sea life, not that bad until they get in your ears. On top we visited Komodo island and the Dragons. They were walking around for us to take our pictures. The guides told us of two tourists that spent two days up a tree while the Dragons camped out waiting for them to come down. Another group came by and shooed them away with their Dragon sticks, not fun. We headed back to the ship with our souvniers for dinner and a night dive. At the end of the week they had their own gift shop if you were so inclined and there were plenty of vendors whenever we dropped anchor. Be sure to bring plenty of crisp new currency, they won't take any thing with the slightest blemish. On the last night they sang and danced for us, a real hoot, they have quite the sense of humor. If you are looking to be spoiled and get in some great diving, I would strongly recommend this operation, good memories!

UW Photo Comments We dove off of tenders, back rolled, so nothing there. On board there were plenty of rinse tanks, the mates would take your camera to the rinse tank and give you a hot towel and hot chocolate. They would rinse your camera, blow it dry and place it on a camera only table for you.
