Comments We had a full boat with 16 pax (can hold 18 but would be tight.) The rooms were comfortable. If I had one room complaint it was that I couldn't see anything but the top of my hair in the mirror, but then, I'm short. There is a hot tub on the sun deck. Now, I have always thought that a hot tub on a dive boat was worthless. In this case, maybe because we had the right mix of people, we used it often and enjoyed it. Food was excellent and prepared and served by an excellent cook and our purser. The dive deck crew was extremely helpful and always aware of where we were during a dive. Dive masters could not have done a better job, Capt. Nestor, Louis, and Gabby were professional and provided the appropriate amount of help for each diver. Gabby was exceptional at helping with equipment problems (I had one of those kinds of trips.)
The diving was really good. We did miss a few dives due to weather early in the week, and an inconvenient plane crash later in the week. Fortunately, the crew and passengers pulled together and the response to the plane crash went amazingly well. Better still and in no small part, because of the response from our boat and the skills of the passengers (2 doctors), there were no fatalities and only minor injuries.
The reef was relatively healthy in spite of diminished young fish (maybe the lion fish issue.) The Honduran government had responded by issuing Hawaiian Slings to each boat. The dive masters would prep the fish to feed to groupers and sharks. They also tried to feed them to other fish such as eels with no success (although lobsters loved them.) This might be a good idea if it teaches the native grouper and shark to hunt lion fish--only time will tell. As you might expect though, there are some groupers out there that are getting insistent on being feed. I was bit by a grouper (I was not feeding, nor had I handled the lion fish.) Fortunately, it wasn't a bad bite (didn't bleed enough to attract anything interesting.)
There was a really good shark dive, several interesting turtles, and as I mentioned, some friendly groupers. None of these dives were difficult or technical in any way. We had too young divers with us and they had no problems at all. All passengers were diving NITROX by the end of the week.
I would recommend this boat and crew to divers of all skill levels. We enjoyed it, enjoyed the crew, and enjoyed the relaxing diving.

UW Photo Comments We had lots of cameras on board. There was a good camera table with outlets for charging. Dedicated wash tank. Excellent support to pass cameras to divers and take them to the wash tank at end of the dive.
