Comments Have been to CoCoView several times. Rooms are basic, but clean and the A/C worked well. Had little lock boxes in the room for wallets, etc. Food just gets better and better; if you leave hungry, it's your fault. Just bring deet, or it's equivalent, and you should be ok from the no seeums/mosquitoes. The dive boats/dive shack are maintained well; gear area works well for storage, etc. Dive boats are easy to exit/enter with lots of room for gear and dressing up. The boats are comfortable also. The whole week the water was smooth as glass; even the dive master mentioned how terrific it was. Dive briefings are interesting and informative. You do boat dives in the morning & afternoon; if you want, you can do the "drop off" dives on Newman/CoCo View wall after the boat dives. The drop off dives are what you make of them (shallow/deep, etc). Our dive master, Jessie, did an outstanding job of keeping the dives organized, fun and interesting; he can find all the small critters and works hard so the photographers and other divers can all enjoy the site and critters. Our boat captain, Rueben, was very good with the divers and their equipment. The shore diving is great; you can dive the walls or the Prince Albert wreck just a couple of minutes swim from the resort. You can dive 24/7 if you want. They assume you are a responsible diver. Checking in/out at the resort was very easy; they also help in getting your seats/return tickets taken care of. Be advised that there is not much to do once you are at the resort but dive. For my purposes, that's just fine, but all kinds of tours, trip into town, etc can be easily arranged. All the staff work very hard to keep your vacation fun and relaxing. I plan on going later this year. See ya there.
