Comments We stayed at Anthony's Key Resort and it is worth every penny. It was like going to summer camp but for adults. There were so many activities that we didn't get to do all of them. It is not only a dive resort, but they have stuff for snorkelers and non-divers also.

We stay on the key which you take a little water taxi (12 foot skiff) that ran 24 hours a day. You never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to go back and forth. We stayed in a room over the water and had resident sea life living around us. We could also see the Dolphin show they put on every day. The dolphins were incredible and the dive with them is well worth the money. They follow the boat out to a dive site and then just play around with you for about 45 minutes. There is nothing rehearsed with the dolphins, they just do what they want. It is really quite a sight.

The rooms are great and you can have some with air conditioning. I don't know why anyone would chose to not have it.

The resort is kept clean and there is always someone there to answer any questions you may have. They also plan activities around your diving, so you don't miss out on any dives. You do 3 a day and twice a week do 4 a day. They have shore diving and channel diving (we never got a chance to do these, because we were too busy). They have kayaks you can go out on and also horseback riding (too busy to do that also).

They offered a fish ID class for free and we decided to go to it. It was really informative and made the dives alot more fun, because you knew what you were looking at.

The dive boats are all 42 ft and are very nice, with a huge bucket for your camera and a little one for masks. The most we had on our boat was 11 and it was not packed at all, we could move around. Most days it was about 8 people, as everyone is doing different things. What we liked it that you are assigned a boat for the week, the same divemaster and driver. So as soon as they knew your diving skills they left you alone to dive. Just briefed you and off you went. If there were days with only 5 people on a boat, they didn't make you go to another boat to save gas. You stayed on your boat. We had no newbees on our boat, which made it nice, since you didn't have to worry about someone running low on air early, kicking up sand, etc. They seemed to put divers abilities together.

If you want to see big fish, then this isn't the spot for you. Honduras is known for big corals and sponges and not alot of big fish as we were told. Lots of little fish and lots of corals and sponges.

The food was great and you always had a couple of choices for meals. You also felt full and were never left hungry. If you did, you could buy (not included in 3 meal-a-day package) from the bar at the pool appetizers, hamburgers, etc.

They suggest bringing bug spray and they are right. The sand fleas are bad and mosquitos, but we didn't have a big problem. We brought Avon Bug spray with Picardin and never had a ton of bites compared with other people. If we did get bite, we had some Wally's anti-itch liquid (you find it on-line) and it is all natural and works wonders on the itching.

We also went on the Canopy tour (Zip line) which was really exciting and the operation did a great job and was very safety conscious.

They also took care of all our travel confirmations for the trip home so we had nothing to do but get on the air conditioned bus to the airport.

Anthony's really knows how to treat their guests and we will definitely be going back. It was a great trip from beginning to end.
